Thank you Toastmaster *Adam Vesely *for using the flighty theme of airports! You set a *resplendent* example, which just happened to be the word of the day. Last Thursday, *Kathy Barrett* did a splendid job with Advanced, Persuasive Speechmaking. Her alter ego, *Pearly White,* did a fabulous job showing us how to be persuasive. She was able to convince her client, Jacques, to upgrade his oral hygiene habits. Really, Jacques*, you have got to be kidding me!* My speech covered saving money on your electric bill, and we are now able to invest in real estate, thanks to *Collette Smith's* overview of investing opportunities. Yours truly received the honor of best speech of the night. *Ray Pezolt* did an excellent job relaying in a very humorous way what must have been a very frustrating DMV experience! I am afraid of going to the DMV again! But really Ray, how could that ALL that stuff have happened, *you have got to be kidding me!* We've been to the DMV enough to know it's the truth, though! *Mark Demay* did a great job with table topics asking us how to handle certain unusual airport situations. It is always good to be prepared, and *Luke Vesely,* winner of table topics, was indeed prepared thinking about what he would do if trapped at the airport for a long, long time. *Pat Haugse* won Best Evaluator; he does a great job relating comfortably to the audience and speaker and providing specific feedback. Nice job Pat! Have a great week and see you Thursday! We have a few things we’ve learned from Saturday’s leadership training that we’d like to share with you. * * *Beth Chacon* *Secretary - Front Range Toastmasters*
