Fellow Front Range Toastmasters,
We have the opportunity this year to send two members for the international
speech contest and two members for the Table Topics contest. Talk about
stacking the deck! Let the games begin. I am looking forward to a great
contest. I will be sending out a sign-up sheet for speakers, functionaries
(timers, sergeant at arms, ballot counters, etc…). More to come. Our chief
judge may reach out independently. Please do not reply to all if you have an
interest in judging. We make every effort to keep the judges anonymous.

Subject: Fwd: Contest prep - 4 or less clubs in good standing in an Area
Dear Club President,
Since our area has only 4 clubs in good standing, we qualify for the rule
below. You may send 2 people from your club to the area contest.
Thanks,
Yann

Selection Sequence
Eight weeks prior to the area contest, if an area has four assigned clubs or
fewer in good standing, districts have the option to allow two contestants from
each club to compete in the area contest.
1. Should additional clubs charter prior to the area contest, two contestants
from each club are permitted to compete.
Our District has decided that it will allow such areas with this scenario to
allow two contestants.
Warm Regards,

Hi all,
Just prepping for club level contests and re-reading the Rule Book.
Area U-6 has 4 clubs still in good standing (or maybe only 3). Therefore my
understanding is that each of those 4 clubs may send two contestants to the
Area U-6 Contest on March 2.
Rules say this is to be announced before club level contests begin, and ours
begin next week.
Thanks for confirming so that we can also announce.
