Good afternoon FRTM!
It is with sadness that I must say goodbye.
Doodles and I will be relocating to Florida sooner than anticipated as the
stars aligned and it seems to be perfect timing for us.
Our move date is March 18th so I will be attending the FRTM Club Contest
and must say my goodbyes there.
I have been so blessed that FRTM was my very first experience with
Toastmasters.
My mentors were many and my lessons profound. From Dirk teaching me how to
lead as VPE and encouraging me to become Club President to Lori High and
Kathy Barrett helping step outside of the club. Ray giving me feedback and
threatening to steal my notes and teaching me how to develop a speech in
five minutes or less ... the lessons go on and on.
Each and every member has touched my life and made it better in some way.
To the many who saw value in me, allowed me to be a crazy leader who came
bearing manuals and especially to those who allowed me to mentor them. You
made me better and for that I humbly thank you.
Sniff sniff ...
Goodbyes are hard so I will say farewell for now.
