FRONT RANGE TOASTMASTERS
May 10, 2018
We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give .....
That's right our Toastmaster last Thursday gave us the reasons why we should
GIVE.  Robin McIntosh showed us that Leadership is truly giving of yourself.
Did you know that he has attended the last three Toastmasters Conferences and
served District 26 in many ways?  I love how FRTM Members are all being
eleemosynary when they work together to learn and grow.

The winner?  Why it was Alan Wong!
Table Topics were led by Bill, getting around pretty good now, Farrand.  Bill
brought all things movies ... everything from over the top villainous
performance, biggest waste of talent to best car chase.  I had a couple of
favorites .... Kathy Barrett's wicked witch of the West and our guest Daniel's
best car chase answer.

It was a battle between the witch and the car that ended in a tie.  Well done
to everyone who took on the Table Topic challenge.
Feedback is the key to growth and our Evaluations were led by our President,
Kathy Barrett.
Jason Marine, Dirk Kittredge and Colette Smith all honored their speakers and
gave most excellent feedback.  With a Better Speakers Presentation and a second
evaluation on a seasoned speaker sandwiching an exemplary example of someone
who has shown huge growth with humor and stage use ... our evaluators had their
hands full.  I enjoyed the way Kathy Barrett kept everything positive and
encouraging during the GE portion of the meeting.

Remember, practice giving ... give of your time, your talent, your resources
and your expertise ... you never know what might happen.  You just might live
longer.

1.      Which member is a miserly man who doesn't give?

2.      Who is organizing and bringing the money basket to Conference this
weekend?

3.      What does eleemosynary mean?

4.      We had a former member visit us ... who was it?

5.      ELECTIONS ARE COMING!
