Toasties,
We're going to do a "staycation" basket. It should have a retail value of
$75 or more.
Suggestions for inclusion items include:
- books
- jigsaw puzzle and puzzle books
- set of plastic iced tea / lemonade glasses
- beach blanket
- DVDs (for entertaining kids)
- beach tote (instead of a "basket" to hold things, but a basket is OK)
- Beer 6-pack (nice microbrew assortment)
- Wine bottle
- Either beer or wine glasses (plastic kind for the pool)
- Maybe a beach towel?
- Snacks (stick of sausage, cheese, crackers)
I suggest we each contribute an item worth about $10. If you prefer to
donate cash, that's fine.
We'll need all the contributions by next Thursday's meeting. Please let me
know by email what you're planning to contribute, so we can avoid
duplication.
Let's make our FRTM basket one of the BEST auction items, reflecting our
high standards among local clubs.
