“ A penny for your thoughts, and an epigram for an epitaph” It’s always good to start a written document with a nice epigram. And what a night we had on Thursday. *“Fracking King” Earl *won best speech of the night by filling us in on the big fracking debate. Helena gave her second speech of the night and it was a very informative overview of small versus large scale agricultural techniques. Thanks to you both for broadening our horizons. Toastmaster Shawnette’s quotation theme energized us throughout the night, and she did a great job in her first role as Toastmaster. * Luke-I’m-your-father* set a great example of how to use the word of the day in his speech. Even though he is about three feet taller than Napoleon,*Ray * pulled off an excellent Napoleon Bonaparte, which earned him table topics winner of the night. And how did Bartlett figure out what quotations to collect from people? With marker and easel at hand, *Dirk* did an excellent evaluation job, which earned him the Best Evaluator award. Colette was her comfortable self during her evaluation, and she always does a fine job identifying important details. *Kreative Kathy* set another great example of how to run Table Topics. Nice job Kathy, you always make it fun! See you next week! Beth Chacon Club Secretary, Front Range Toastmasters
