Ladies and Gentlemen of Front Range Toastmasters.
Last night was a blast thanks to the leadership of Kathy Barrett. She is
on top of things as the Toastmaster and taught us all about Numbers and
their meanings. What is your Life Path Number? Don't know? Well my
friends, you should have been there! From life path numbers to master key
numbers ... it all means something.
I'm a seven and we have a few members who are MASTER NUMBER FOLKS. You
know who you are. Let's just say Luke Vesely was patting himself on the
back :o)
Shout out goes to Beth Chacon who did triple duty ... that's right ...
she's a Toastmaster extraordinaire ... she was the Greeter, Evaluator and
Quiz Master.
Ray Pezolt gave a last minute out of his hip pocket speech and also was an
evaluator!
What a meeting!
Do you know how to find a Silver Lining in any situation, good or bad?
Just ask Katelynn Stoll! She gave the winning speech last night by regaling
us with a family trip that started out all wrong and ended up all right.
Was is because of her numbers or did she simply find the silver lining?
Table Topics was so much fun! There was an astrological chart and we
learned every ones signs and what they mean. Who can forget Ray Pezolt
calling me up on the carpet for rigging the whole game! Luke Vesely came
out on top by tell us all about Beth Chacon and how she was surely not a
Gemini.
Evaluators were strong and in the end it was Ray with his evaluation of
Katelynn's speech who had the winning formula. We were all encouraged by
GE, Luke Vesely, to give CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK each and every time we get
up to evaluate a speaker.
If you weren't there last night, all you need to know is that it was an
astrological and numerological affair.
Until next week my friends when hopefully the greatly missed Dirk will be
back in the house.
