Good evening My Friends!
Tonight we had a Superb meeting!
With the Theme: Friendship. and 16 Toastmasters (including 2 visitors) in
attendance the meeting was fast paced and . filled with anticipation and
delight!
Our speakers provided solid lessons that were moving and motivational .
. Anselma Lopez (now known as Annie Joe) planted seeds that made us
all ponder. Were we Born to Run .in our $100 running shoes OR. our bare
feet! Progress VS Pain.
Hmmm, hard choice! (not for the tender foot!)
. Jeff Priestly and his Sombrero peaked our interest from the moment
the Hat entered the room! I think the lesson here. Take 5 hit home for most
of us! Jeff, I saw that tear in your eye as you shared the story of the
riptide. Wow, what a moving story!
. Luke Vesely helped us all become familiar with Royal etiquette &
protocol. Toast Masters, You are NOW Ready to Meet the Queen! Dream Big my
friends!!!
. Scott Lindsay inspired us to consider the 4 Elements of Great
Relationships. A fresh reminder that when you focus on. Love, Trust,
Respect/Honor and Understanding your relationships have depth that withstand
time.
Our Table Topics served up fond memories of Epicurean delights for each
participant, compliments of Danielle Edmonds. I especially loved the "Guilty
Pleasures" that had Annie Joe smiling ear-to-ear and giggling .along with
the Club as she composed herself!
THANK YOU to everyone in attendance tonight! Our 2 Guests: Brenda and Julie
we appreciate your positive feedback AND thank you for participating in our
Table Topics! We hope Y'all come back again, real soon! (Jeff, please
share comments w/Julie)
And, a SPECIAL Thank you to Kathy Barrett, our Toastmaster .GREAT JOB!!!
You are always SO well prepared! Your topic was interesting and well
supported with though provoking inspirations throughout the meeting. You
pulled together another memorable meeting and everything went just like
"Clock-work" ;0)
If you were not here this week. you were missed!! But more importantly you
missed another GREAT Toastmasters Meeting! We had FUN and fellowship!
Together we ALL reach for new heights! Come join the fun!
