Hi Jonathan,
Thank you very much for your kind words. I'm glad that you and many other
fellow Toastmasters like the videos and the idea behind the whole Video
Marketing Project. After hearing Dirk's evaluation on my speech and group's
recommendation from as he called "the old" guys, I started writing longer
texts attached to the videos aiming to meet the expectations of everybody.
I'm very happy that two of the speakers, Russ and Richa are members of FRTM
and I thank both of them for jumping on board without hesitation and taking
part in this fun project. We hope that the videos will reach more fellow
Toastmasters and non-Toastmasters and will inspire them to come to the
Conference and get bigger involvement in the organization.
In order to achieve our goal, we encourage everybody who likes the videos
to share them with their personal network through their Social Media,
because now the success of this project depends on the number of shares.
At the end of the day, if this project is a success, each of us will
benefit of it, because we will meet new interesting people at the
Conference and TMI in general and will have an influx of fresh ideas &
experiences.
I'm proud to be a member of one of the most active and well known clubs in
the District!

Marieta talked about this campaign in her recent speech. This is the best
TM promo stuff I've seen so far. Kudos to Marieta!
BTW, in the spirit of "lemons to lemonade", when in future Jen or I am
speaking, I'll gladly record anyone else as well. Just ask! (And thanks to
June for suggesting where Dirk sat tonight as an out of the way place for
the recording apparatus.)
