Subject: FRTM - Grab Bag!

Greetings All!

Thursday's meeting was FANTASTIC! Amelia Autrey with prowess and trivia
smoothly guided us through the night. She helped us appropriately live in our
country by telling us that Rhode Island is the smallest and yet the largest in
the nation. Yup, in size Rhode Island is the smallest state and it's full name
is "Rhode Island and Providence Plantations" is the largest. This is but one
example of the sorts of important information that she afforded us during her
meeting.

Welcome Shonnie Cline as our newest returning member, voted in as a member on
Thursday. For those who do not know Shonnie, "OMG: SHE has returned!" Whoopie!

Deb Obermiller gave her Ice Breaker speech, telling us about her upbringing.
Much time spent in the out of doors indeed.

Phil Poplawski told us about Twinkie genocide in his presentation: "All Purpose
Flour".

Kathy Barrett showed us how to gracefully accept an award. She actually logged
80,000 foot steps in a single day... wow, did she need massaging of her little
tootsies.

Finally Beth Chacon presented "Saving Your Own Skin". Very important
information for us in Colorado.

Our Table Topics session was outstanding, presented by our Master of
Elaboration -- Luke Vesely. We had challenging questions such as "How was your
day?" and "How are things goin?" For example, we learned from Kathy Barrett
that she is excited about her sofa. Yeah, you really should have seen this
one.

Our General Evaluator was Lori High who did an excellent analysis of the
meeting. Pattie Apple, Shonnie Cline, Ray Pezolt, Dirk Kittredge, Mai Vang all
provided feedback to the participants this night. None of them hornswoggled
us, we truly got the full-monte.

When all the dust had settled Phil Poplawski won as best speaker, Pattie Apple
claimed best Table Topics speaker, and the better evaluator was Ray Pezolt on
this occasion.

Amelia, super meeting my dear. By the way, did you make up that the Model-T
Ford was painted black because it was the fastest paint to dry???

Until next week, I bid you adieu...

Dirk Kittredge, Club Secretary
