Subject: FRTM - Recap: June 7, 2012 Meeting
Dear Front Range Toastmasters,
The recap for June 7, 2012 is: We thank Kathy Barrett for being our President.
She does an excellent job in performing her job in this position!
Amelia Autrey was our Toastmaster for the evening and did a fantastic job! The
theme of the night was "Alterations," which is certainly a good theme for what
is going on in our community today.
The Word of the Day was provided by Lisa and it was "Be Putative" meaning ie.
commonly accepted, etc.. Many members used the WOD during their speeches as
well as the Table Topics.
We would also like to welcome our new members: Collette Smith and Britney
Jones! Congratulations on Becoming a New Member of our Front Range Toastmasters
Club!!!!!
Beth won the Speech contest on doing a speech on food contamination. What an
interesting speech and we all learned alot of new information. Thanks Beth for
a job well done!
Adam, Mark, and Pat were winners of doing the Evaluation. Congratulations on
doing such a great job at evaluating the speakers!
The Table Topics was won by Elizabeth. She performed an excellent speech which
is not easy to do on the spur of the moment.
Congratulations Elizabeth!
Remember that we are all commonly accepted as being members! Always remember
the Word of the Day in our vocabulary! See everyone this Thursday evening, June
14th at 7:00.
