Hello All,
TLI was fabulous! I made quite a few good connections and also reconnected with
old friends. It was encouraging and beneficial in so many ways.
It was also very good to catch up with my Frontrange friends. As most of you
know I'm attending a counseling training class on Thurs evenings for what will
actually be several weeks.....but I do miss you all!
Ed Tate, as always, does not disappoint.....as he would play in his
presentations.....tap the person next you and say "I told he was good!"
But Byron........in only about a year of being in the public speaking arena is
sensational! Obvisously he is gifted and has a strong stage presence....but
REALLY....showed what could be achieved in a short period of time.
The one thing I captured from his speech.....is that a gifting is what we have
been given. And talent is what we make of that gift......I needed to hear and
understand that!

I know you'll say enough already, June, but one take away from the day that I
hope those who attended will pass on to you in a more powerful way than I can
do in email. Is when anybody asks you what you do....for a living/career. Don't
tell them what you do......tell them what benefit for THEM there is in the
service/activity you provide to the community---and in 7 words or less. (Ed
Tate took 6 months to draft/perfect his)

We had three guests join our club last night.
-> Crystal Baker, Robert's wife joined now that her class is finished.
-> Ramzi Dalloul, a prior member of Westminster Communicators decided to join
our club.
-> Debbie Sargent joined our club sight unseen after speaking with me on the
phone yesterday.
This increases our membership count to 35. I anticipate that we will have
three more join next week, bringing us to our membership cap and filling the
club.
