Sorry to have missed out.  Not surprised the event was a big success and

Thursday’s Convention Party was so much fun!

What an experience!

Front Range Toastmasters’ future is so , we just gotta wear shades!

They say that “one picture is worth a thousand words.”

The food was fabulous, the experience – invigorating, and the gathering
extremely gregarious!

FRTM members began arriving at the beautiful offices provided by The Beck
Group.   Their conference room was a very comfortable venue, providing us
everything needed for a successful event – including all the technology to
connect to the live streaming of this year’s Semi-Final #9!

Semi-final competition kicked off promptly at 6:30 p.m.

Contestant No. 1 – District 81:  Achiim Bacas “Lesson from Shame”  (This
contest was a TBA entry.  I may have spelled his name incorrectly.)

Contestant No. 2 – District 93:  Danton Ford  “Breathe – It’s Just a Baby
Crying”

Contestant No. 3 – District 4:  Gopi Kallayil “If You Can Speak, You Can
Sing”

Contestant No. 4 – District 26:  Diana Thompson “Day-O, Day-O”

Contestant No. 5 – District 48:  Kevin Stamper “Breathless”

Contestant No. 6 – District 75:  Josef Victor Chiongbian “Woosah”

Contestant No. 7 – District 21:  Kerice V. Richards “Hey Black Child”

Contestant No. 8 – District 78:  Charles Siebenga “Story Power”

Contestant No. 9 – District 71:  Vinette Hoffman-Jackson “When The Lights

It was decided by vote of hands, en lieu of Table Topics,  to watch the
remainder of the video stream.  Everyone wanted to see who won!  It was so
exciting to see Diana Thompson place second!  District 26 rocked the
competition!

All attendees signed a “Thank You” card for the partners at The Beck Group
that granted our club access to such beautiful meeting space.

It was such a treat to have Brissa, from Carbon Valley attend as a guest.
Thank you, Dirk, for encouraging her to make the drive down!  (Dirk, if you
could share our guests full name and her connection to Front Range
Toastmasters, that would be appreciated.)

A big “Thank You” to everyone.  The potluck was simply amazing!   FRTM
puts on quite the buffet!

As our Secretary, Alan Wong, would say, “You should have been there!”
