I did it because I thought they should be able to chat with the club,
rather than wait to be called on. I hadn't thought about the camaraderie,
Alan, but you're right.
I wasn't thinking that, as Zoom host, Katelynn was in a position to watch
for chat messages. But obviously that's true.
Is it that burden for you, Katelynn? If so, perhaps we should have a new
hybrid role, the Interface.

Since coming back to live two weeks ago. The first week I was in zoom.
The 2nd week I was in person. Here is what I've noticed. When I was in
zoom, there were four other people zooming including the club. It felt
fine but isolated and a little lonely. And that's ok. When I was in
person, it was a great experience. Nothing will replace in person
interaction.
During our last meeting, I noticed that Jonathan had his lap top up and he
was in zoom and he was live in person.
I think that's a great idea. It allows all the zoom people to feel less
isolated. Zoom people will now have someone else to chat with. It's the
best of both worlds. I'm not saying people live have to be in zoom but it
sure makes the zoom people feel more engaged. Just a thought.
