So many comments, but I am fixated on your sandwich with a name. Nice touch.
I giggled (poor Natalie).

Greetings Fellow Toastmasters,
Toastmaster for the evening was Robin McIntosh. Theme was communication. (
or was it miscommunication). There were 11 members and one guest (Monica).
Highlights of the evening
1. Susie Minskey speech was on bullying with a slide presentation. Colette
Smith was our 2nd speaker and her speech had selected members in the audience
that were to interrupt her while she was giving her speech. Personally I
think it would be a hard speech to give and Colette handled like a
professional.
2. Table Topics master was Jonathan Kolber and the chosen ones were to
select a paper with sayings regarding communication. Jennifer Dunne on
daylight savings. Monica with scariest miscommunication. And Kathleen Jewby
with I'm so glad I got the alien one. Wag my tail.
3. Kathleen Jewby was our General Evaluator. Robin mentions that it was one
of the best GE evaluations he's been a part of and I agree.
4. Jeff Stoll evaluated Susie. Watched for if I look like I'm staring off
into space. Jennifer Dunne evaluated Colette. Evaluated disruptions, not the
speech. Slowed speech so everyone can understand over disruptions.
5. At the end Robin asked Monica on what she thought of the meeting. Monica
mentions that if we were to text a chore like washing dishes and if we were
to end the sentence with a smiley face emoji, the task is more likely to be
done. :)
6. Ribbon winners:
Best Speaker: Colette Smith
Best Evaluator: Jennifer Dunne
Best Table Topcs: Kathleen Jewby

Quote: Strange new trend at the office. People putting names on food in the
fridge. Today I had a ham sandwich named Natalie.
Quote: It's too bad the letter T and G are so close together. It's why I
will never end a letter with regards.
