Grammarian was Pattie. Word of the Day was *blatherskite*. (You're going to
want to look it up. Seriously, look it up. You'll be glad you did.)
Quizmaster was Katelynn
Inspiration was Jonathan
Sergeant at Arms was Colette, who also served as Timer Joker
Gesture Master and Ah Counter was Alan
Jennifer reported that three officers attended TLI last weekend. This
brought the club to 8 Presidential points. One more educational attainment
(two Level 2 Pathways, or one ACS), and we reach 9 points. Beyond that, the
benefit of more points is in cash awards to the club!
Colette asked everyone to LIKE FRTM's Facebook page. (It only takes a
minute!)
Jonathan shared his discovery at TLI that the Club can designate members
who've been inactive, thereby excluding them from the Quorum requirement
(but with no other effect). Jennifer promised to take this up at the next
officers' meeting.
For speech # 1, Jonathan delivered "Toilets: A Place to Go!". This was from
the Pathways Visionary Leadership manual. It is a speech to show the
ability to research a topic one doesn't know. (The talk was replete with
colorful yet hopefully tasteful slides. He ran out of time at the end of
the speech, and forgot to show the last slide, which was the sources!) Lori
was Evaluator.
For speech # 2, Jeff delivered an interactive use of audience survey
devices to find out things about FRTM. (Attached; see below.) His evaluator
was Monica. The devices were easy to use, and there was discussion of their
future uses in FRTM.
Savanna was Table Topics Master. The theme involved fortune cookies.

General Evaluator was Bill.
Lori evaluated Jonathan's speech, expressing the view that the research did
not challenge him, and the fact that sources were not presented. (Also,
there was struggling with getting the projector control to work properly.)
Monica evaluated Jeff's speech, expressing the desire that she should have
been supplied with an evaluation form.

Reports were given. There were few "Ahs" today.
