Savanna was the Toastmaster, for the second time. The theme was "parenting".

Her most memorable parenting comment: a story about her son pooping in the
doors of Home Depot, and the way her husband "handled" it. (YHTBT.)
Greeter was Kathleen.
Ah Counter was Ray.
Gesture Master was Colette.
Quizmaster was Luis.
Inspiration was Michael, who talked about "what 3 things do you want to be
remembered for?"
Timer Joker was Dirk, who told the story of Dracula finding his next
wingman among the vampire bats. (YHTBT.)

Susie was Speaker # 1. She spoke from Humorous Speaking about "Living in a
Man's World".
Alan was Speaker # 2. He spoke from the Pathways Communications Style
project about "Three Ways to Say No".
Robin was Speaker # 3. He spoke about "Facilities". (Aside: This was a
practice of a speech he had already given at work!?)
Table Topics Master was Bill Farrand. The topic was "Famous Parents". These
were portrayed via teams of two. Mike and Savanna portrayed King George II
and King George III. When discussing how to handle the unruly colonies,
Savanna (III) hopefully asked Michael (II) "Kill them all?" When informed
that this was NOT a good option, her second idea was "Whips and chains?"
Apparently, Colonial America was a racier place than we've been led to
believe.
Lori and Monica were Joan Rivers and her daughter. Joan's daughter was
being prepped for a red carpet interview. The daughter said, "Can we NOT
interview the Kardasians? PLEASE??" (A sentiment shared by many, again and
again.)
Dirk and Colette were Homer and Lisa Simpson. They explained donut-based
science. (YHTBT.)
Robin and Jennifer were Darth Vader and Princess Leia. He broke the news
about being her father by saying "I blew up your mother!" She retaliated
that he was trying a mind game, and couldn't possibly be her father because
he was bald and she had gorgeous, if strangely styled, hair.

Lori was General Evaluator.
First (and first-time!) Evaluator was Kathleen, evaluating Susie.
Second Evaluator was Jennifer for Alan.
Third Evaluator was Luis for Robin.
Lori noted that Kathleen's dedication to being a good evaluator led her to
seek out and read the project prior to the meeting, so she would know what
to evaluate on.
There were a total of 18 ah's during the meeting, reported Ray. He also
reported so's, but did not click them.
Gesture Master Colette found a lot of good gestures, many faithfully
reproduced. She mentioned that all three Evaluators demonstrated stage use
and their speaker's gestures. Luis described Robin's gesture whenever he
paused. Apparently, "Facilities" at RTD is a place Steve Martin's Wild and
Crazy Guys would feel at home. (YHTBT.)

Best Table Topics Robin and Jennifer
Savanna's performance as Toastmaster was fun, moved along at a good pace,
and (according to GE Lori) was quite relaxed.
