Friends, greetings!

Good meeting last night!  Two unannounced guests from the website, three super presentations, faces we've not seen in a while...  Amelia put together quite the meeting... Good times, good times.

OK, a couple of opportunities.

Double Talk is having their Saturday meeting tomorrow afternoon/evening in Castle Pines.  Any interested in joining me?  Good food, good company.  Roast beef is the main course, pot luck other than that.  Let me know if you have interest...

Saturday morning (October 9th) is the Area E4/E5 Evaluation and Humorous speech contest in Longmont.  Rayna is going to be the target speaker, which should throw the contestants a true curve ball.  Ray and I are headed there.  Anyone else interested in attending?  Will be done by lunch time.  Let me know...

The Foothills Division contest is taking place the next weekend, Sat October 16th at the United Methodist Church, 6750 Carr Street, Arvada.  Earl and Marshall are competing at this event.  Contestants & volunteers arrive at 9:30 AM.  Contest starts at 10:00, ends around 1:00 PMish.

Finally, I need your help friends.  I have been asked to be the Eastern Division Contest Chief Judge.  This event is also taking place on Saturday October 16, 2010, 2:00 PM.  Should be over by 4:00ish.  I need a couple volunteers to help with the competition administration.  Further, at a division level, this will be a very interesting and fun event.  Location: Xilinx Retreat, 3100 Logic Drive, Longmont, CO  80503.  If you're going to help me and plan to attend the Foothills competition, you'll have to leave the morning event a bit early as I need the volunteers to arrive by 1:15 PM or so.

Please help support our club and our contestants and I'd appreciate the help if you are able to do so.

Thanks!
