Hear Ye, Hear Ye, Front Range Toastmasters. This coming meeting will be our
elections meeting. This will be a different meeting than usual and will define
the club leadership moving into the future.
I will be your toastmaster for the evening and we will be entertained by 2-3
minute speeches from each of the members nominated for roles. The current
nominees are identified at the end of this e-mail.
Kathy Barrett is scheduled to be presenting a workshop presentation during the
meeting and will be tentatively evaluated by Richa Acharya.
We will not have the usual table topics presentations during the meeting. This
will be an impromptu "Speech-a-thon". Based on past presentations and
nomination speeches, You don't want to miss the party. Nominees will either be
speaking on their own behalf or will have a proxy speaker speaking on their
behalf. Anything can happen in that format (and has happened in the past).
Nominations for each officer position will be solicited from the floor prior to
elections so it is not to late to get into the game.
