Good Afternoon Front Range Toastmasters.

It was a sweet Rocky Mountain High meeting last night as Lori High artfully
led us through all the facts about SUGAR! Follow Lori's 80 / 20 rule and
you will conquer the sugar beast.

You don't even want to know how many teaspoons of sugar are in one soda. I
say drink water.

Our guest speaker Naomi Takeuchi gave us a speech packed full of
International Flavor as she told us stories of her travels and visits to
other Toastmaster Clubs around the world. She has made a lot of wonderful
Toastmasters friends and drove home the point, "You're never alone or
friendless if you're part of Toastmasters." Get out there people! Go
visit other clubs and share the love.

Bill Farrand brought his funny once again as he practiced his contest
speech for TONIGHT! Great feedback, from Dana Moran Barnes suggestion to
work the stage purposefully to Ray and Amelia encouraging Bill to wait for
the laughs. I can't wait to see Bill slay it tonight along with Amelia and
Adam!

Katelynn did a fine job with her second evaluation ever! Her feedback for
Kathy was direct, purposeful and filled with concrete examples. I could
tell she attended the Evaluation Workshop put on by Dirk as she went over
the objectives of the project and was able to tell us exactly what Kathy
was working on. Keep up the good work Katelynn.

I would tell you all about Kathy Barrett's speech but I don't want to ruin
the surprise :o)
You had to be there! Way to give a prize and take home a prize :o)

Table Topics: From the Airplane Bone Yard's and Martians to Colette's long
since passed ancestors preserved in stone ... it was Phil Wygonski who took
home the prize by telling us all about his first and last day in the Navy.
Way to sink the ship and take home the prize Wygonski!
