Toastmasters,
Yes, you shoulda been there on Thursday night @ 7:00PM, it’s only for 2
hours but the fun and information is worth much more.
First time Toastmaster PJ took us thru on all about July 4th. It may be
PJ’s first time but, he sure ran the meeting like a pro. 3 guests in the
house all will be coming back as members, as they promised. Fabulous job
PJ, meeting was spot on.
Will you give up your cell phone? I guess not without a fight ……. Do you
know what I am talking about? You shoulda been there for Pattie’s speech.
Oh and Richa asked everyone if she should stay or give up and go ………..
What? Where? What?? Well, you really shoulda been there.
And of course Debate was so much fun, and yes it was not over till last
week. With best speaker to Ray Pezolt, you shoulda been there to get that
scoop of how the debate came onto shape.
Lori High really rocked the Table Topics. Lori stumped most of us, made
some of us think more, and definitely made all of us laugh. Well, the best
table topic speaker Jennifer, yes one of our guests, got the most votes.
Katelynn stepped up at the last minute to be the General Evaluator. Amazing
job as the GE and thank you for stepping up. Phil evaluated Pattie, Zoe
evaluated Richa and Jeff evaluated Ray. Who took the best evaluator? Yes
you guessed it right -- Zoe with her skillful evaluation was voted the best
evaluator.
Colette as the Greeter and Timer/Joker; Minh as the Ah-Counter; and Joe as
the Quizmaster – all did an amazing job.
All in all, it was one of a kind meeting!
