Farmer has a horse. Farmer loves his horse. Horse runs off. Neighbors
say that's bad luck. Farmer says "maybe". Horse came back with three wild
horses. Neighbors think what great luck. Farmer says "maybe". Son on
horse falls off and breaks leg. Neighbors say bad luck. Farmer says
"maybe". Military drafts everyone's son. Cannot draft farmers son because
of injury. Neighbors say so lucky. Farmer says "maybe". Moral - take the
negative and perceive them as positive, it's what changes your
perspective.

by One Republic. Purchased the speakers in 20 seconds. Transistor radio
from 1960s to Blue tooth speakers today. Demo with blue tooth speakers.

Asserting yourself effectively. Taking ASS out of assertiveness. Take
control of situation. Four step approach (STOP). Repeat message until
they understand and comply. The 4 "B"s. POLE. Pick your battle. Offer a
win win solution. Let other party pick final solution. Expect
resistance. Role play with Luke Vesely. Clicking of pen, distracting.
Audience feedback - wanted more confrontation between Luke and Robin.
Speaker #3. Jennifer Dunne
Sales professionals, stay goal oriented and productive. Phone call, biopsy
positive for cancer. Broke down, tears, cancer is a big obstacle. Next
day, calm and confident. ROAR. Reach out, accept and relax. Time to work
through emotions. Find something good. Take advantage of good things.
Clear eye, clear thought, clear heart. Focus on one thing at a time. Next
obstacle - roar at it and be King of the Jungle.

Power point check spelling. Sell the product, great display. Too much
time on sound bar, took time away speakers. Talked a lot about you on why
"you" use it. Speech should be on Why "I" should buy it. Too much use of
the word awesome. Sell Benefits, not features. Ask for the sale. Always
be closing.

Asserting yourself effectively. Parts passive aggressive. Own
methodology, where credibility comes from. Where did you learn it? How
effective is it? Well dressed. Smile. Tone. Actual conversation, not
rigid.

feedback on Kathy. It's hard to be candid but it helps us grow. (it helps

Congratulations to all the ribbon winners. Tonight we had 15 members and
no guests. Luis Estrada did a wonderful job as toastmaster and his theme
was excellent. All the speakers had long speeches and they were very
entertaining. I've noticed most speakers that give speeches do so with no
notes. Ray's message on selling benefits and not features is so "awesome".
Dirk is getting very creative with one word wonders. Last week the word
was "curious". Tonight was the word "odd". I love it. It was another
night where if you missed out, you should've been there. Until next week,
