Good morning Front Range Toastmasters!
It was an infamous meeting last Thursday.
From the location change to learning all about Ray Pezolt's Dad and the
family connection to Pearl Harbor. Ray taught us how to take a story and
weave through out the whole meeting. WOW!
Did you ever wonder about the APP Uber? Well then you should have seen
Jerimiah's ubery speech on the subject. Just in case you are with fellow
toastmasters and imbibe slightly too much this tool is for you!
The cost of College/University? Young people and families listen up ...
there is a better way. Katelynn can set you straight and educate you on
how to save big money on your post secondary education. See her if you
need tips, she is an expert.
What can be said about Phil's speech? Have another glass of wine my
friend! What a great example of using a metaphor expertly, use of energy
and ability to connect with your audience. It was enough to beat out the
other two speakers for the blue ribbon. Want to know what it was all
about? Ya shoulda been there!
Table Topics ~ well I've never seen this done before but Dirk was amazing
and all of his questions honored our venue (Mimi's Cafe), off the cuff and
in the moment .... From, would you bring in outside food to a restaurant
... to what are MRU's or is that MRE's? Adam took home the trophy even
though Colette threw her menu on the floor and stormed off the stage. All
participants were inspired and able to answer Dirk's questions expertly.

Our evaluation team excelled!
From our Timer Luke's joke to our Quizmaster Richa's ability to almost
stump us ... it was a site to behold. GE, Colette, led the Evaluators,
Deb, Lori and Luke as they stood and delivered critical feedback to our
speakers. It was a great job by all. The winner ... it was an Adam Vesely
kind of night.
Did you know that Ah's and other filler words are now illegal at FRTM? Ray
can tell you all about it.
All in all it was a flavorful evening filled with wine and other spirits.
