Greetings Fellow Toastmasters,
Toastmaster of the evening was Katelynn Pau. Her theme was Saving Money
during the Christmas Holidays. Shop early, make your own presents, and
group gifts. We had officers election and Jennifer Dunne did an excellent
job getting through the elections quickly and efficiently. Our president
is still our one and only Robin McIntosh. Our new VP of Education is none
other than Pattie Apple. Our VP of Membership is our amazing Dirk
Kittredge. Our VP of public relations is our very own and very unique Bill
Farrand. Our new secretary is. . . . give it up. . . for Susie Minskey.
Our returning and awesome Treasurer is Jonathan Kolber. And also returning
and every bit as awesome is Luis Estrada. Congratulations to our new and
returning officers. I know you will make us all proud and keep the club as
amazing as we all know it is. Also a big thank you to the officers of the
past. (Yay).
Highlights of the Evening
1. 12 members and 2 guests. I truly believe there's a different level of
energy and excitement whenever there are guests. Good job to all of us for
making guests feel so comfortable. I still remember my very fist time as a
guest. First impressions only happens once.
2. During introductions, one word to describe our love of the
holidays. Jennifer
Dunne said wrapping. I thought she said rapping. I think I need hearing
aids.
3. Pattie Apple was our first speaker. Losing presents and six years
later, she's still looking for them. Good transitions on her speech from
presents to cooking. Jeff Stoll was our second speaker. Proposal for
greeter role. The hostess with the most est. How do you greet people
when you don't know them?
4. Table topics master was Ray Pezolt. Bill Farrand with doing something
dangerous with no risk. Kathleen Jewby with unlimited funds and she would
go to Greece. Robin McIntosh with embarrassing phobia.
5. Bill Farrad was our Master General Evaluator. Bill is always
entertaining. I do believe he not only studies Mars but he resides there.
Bill ended his role by returning the meeting back to our toastmaster. .

Let's talk about the elephant parked in our conversational vestibule. No,
I am not referring to Jeff Stoll using notes. I'm referring to Susie
Minskey being our new secretary. (Yay). I am certain she will carry on
the tradition of giving us recaps and I know she will do an awesome job.
It has been an honor and privilege to have been your secretary. I hope
you've enjoyed reading the recaps as much as I've enjoyed writing them.
