Greetings Fellow Toastmasters,
Our toastmaster for the evening was the most relevant Robin McIntosh. His
theme was Puppies and Kittens. There were 19 people that attended the zoom
meeting and 6 of them were guests. (welcome guests, we love having
guests). Ray Pezolt was our Grammaria and his word of the day was Caustic,
meaning capable of destroying or eating away by chemical action.
Speaker #1: Revathy Sukumaran: "Takeaways from my parents".
Unconditional love, relationships and culture. Parents were never scared
of commitments. Can expect house guests anytime. Lottery ticket.
Speaker #2: Alan Wong: "I am still me" Dan, printer the size of a car.
Not able to sell his business. Old and irrelevant. My work defines me and
work is my identity. The day I retire, a part of me will die.

Relatable speech. Jokes, story comparisons.
General Evaluator Dirk. Pattie - good introductions with guests. Robin as
toastmaster tied introduction to the theme. Jennifer on clear enunciation
and skilled in choosing words. (one day I want to be at the level of
Jennifer, she's amazing). Ah Counter was Pattie Apple and Quiz Master was
Jonathan Kolber.

Congratulations to all the winners. It was another great meeting with
everyone participating and getting engaged. I am reminded that with
evaluations, it is subjective and it is influenced by personal feeling,
tastes, and opinions. I've been a test speaker on several occasions and
I've been told by one evaluator I had great vocal variety. The very next
evaluator told me I had no vocal variety. It's all good because we're here
to learn from suggestions to improve and soak in the positive feedback.
I'm not in any way referring to today's evaluators because Richa and
Kathleen did an outstanding job. And Dirk is our god. We can all learn
from him. I was just thinking of evaluations from the past and I wanted to
remind everyone that opinions are like bunny butts. Every bunny has one.
