#10098: DriveSetup: encrypted disks should display encrypted instead of empty -------------------------------------+------------------------------ Reporter: dsjonny | Owner: stippi Type: enhancement | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: R1 Component: Applications/DriveSetup | Version: R1/Development Keywords: | Blocked By: Blocking: | Has a Patch: 0 Platform: All | -------------------------------------+------------------------------ Using hrev46224 nightly anyboot. I think DriveSetup should detect if the disk is encrypted, and show <encrypted> instead of <empty>. With this we can prevent the unwanted format of the disk. [[Image(DriveSetup.png)]] I have tried PGP (Symantec) and BitLocker (Microsoft) encrypted disk. I can provide block data from the disks if need. [[Image(Encrypted.png)]] (I don't know how many encryption solutions are present, but I think it would be useful and safe.) -- Ticket URL: <http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/10098> Haiku <http://dev.haiku-os.org> Haiku - the operating system.
