 I have used similar sis630-based laptop about 10 years ago and it was
 always headache using USB even on Windows 2000/XP. AFAIR its root hubs
 cannot provide enough power for my Hauppauge TV tuner so only solution was
 to connect it by using self-powered USB hub with really big power supply.

 BTW, it was very comfortable BeOS machine and early Haiku versions
 demonstrate acceptable performance on this hardware - but I'm not sure if
 that laptop has enough resources to run nowadays Haiku revisions
 comfortably.

 Well, I will try to load latest Haiku revision on my sis630 laptop some
 day in the feature.
