#10449: Selections, SHIFT key and context menu ----------------------------------+------------------------------ Reporter: humdinger | Owner: axeld Type: bug | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: R1 Component: Applications/Tracker | Version: R1/Development Keywords: | Blocked By: Blocking: | Has a Patch: 0 Platform: All | ----------------------------------+------------------------------ This is href46721. * Select a number of files by clicking on the first file, hold SHIFT and click on the last file you want selected. * Now, while holding SHIFT, right-click on any file (preferable in the middle of your block of selected files), in order to "Create relative link" or "Force identify". -> The selection gets changed: the last file is now the file you right- clicked on. If you shift-right-click on an existing selection of files, the selection should not be altered. (If, however, only one file is selected, the shift-right-click could extend the selection to the shift-right-clicked file, showing the shift- context menu containing the "Forced identify" etc. items. This does already behave like this currently.) -- Ticket URL: <https://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/10449> Haiku <https://dev.haiku-os.org> Haiku - the operating system.
