#10724: MediaConverter: shows non-writable container formats for output -------------------------------------------+---------------------------- Reporter: jessicah | Owner: stippi Type: bug | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: R1 Component: Applications/MediaConverter | Version: R1/Development Resolution: | Keywords: Blocked By: | Blocking: Has a Patch: 1 | Platform: All -------------------------------------------+---------------------------- Comment (by jessicah): Replying to [comment:8 stippi]: > Just wanted to note that I am fully on the same page with the changes. The API is clearly not intended to report writable formats only. It just so happened that all formats it reported on BeOS were also writable. Similarily, I don't think it makes sense to offer tons of writable formats, even though ffmeg might support it. The API should offer the most sensible and most likely needed choices only. Otherwise, users are just overwhelmed without guidance. Haha, totally agree! I had mentioned that to PulkoMandy the other day in IRC :) Also, I think this bug can be closed now... -- Ticket URL: <https://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/10724#comment:10> Haiku <https://dev.haiku-os.org> Haiku - the operating system.
