 This is hrev47988.

 When you open PowerStatus in a window, you can resize the window and
 thereby resize the containing icon. If you drag the icon/replicant onto
 the Desktop, you'll end up with a replicant that has the height, but not
 the width of the icon in the resized window.

 This is from a window that I resized to be roughly square:
