While OTP-support has been implemented on vmweb, the requirement to use
PAM has indeed brought back the strange phenomenon that the first login of
some period (a day, IIRC) will take ages (around 1 minute). So far, the
logs haven't shown much info as to what exactly causes the timeout. All I
know so far is that the time seems to be spent in the PAM stack.
Activating debug output in PAM didn't yield any more relevant info either.
