#12069: NFS mounts don't show on Desktop

I've been using NFS4 to mount directories from my Raspberry Pi, and it
seems to work quite well (with the occasional hang on a copy -- maybe
needs a ticket too). However, on my older pre-PM system (hrev45851) when
I mount to a mountpoint directory in /boot/home, the mount appears on the
Desktop (with a distinctive "shared" icon).
Having just installed hrev49167, the actual mount works as before, but
nothing appears on the Desktop.
