problem at this location (still have one month here, after that i will

Ok - thanks for the info. I think in addition to the Wireshark thing, I
could set up the Linux box with tc netem (something like "tc qdisc change
dev eth0 root netem delay 100ms 10ms loss .1%") per a suggestion on stack-
exchange to simulate latency and packet loss. That might be interesting
because of what you say about the slower connection (satellite) being the
problem. Here, I might see the problem more often when there is network
congestion (evening). Right now, hrev 49652 is working fine, and has been
all morning. Of course, it could all be my imagination :-)
