#12429: Pootle throws away every suggestion with "Unknown error"

I'd like to contribute to the Canadian English localization, but every
time I click on "Suggest" to suggest a translation Pootle briefly displays
"Unknown error" at the bottom of the screen and advances to the next
string, throwing my work away.
Trying a different Web browser didn't help. Have I missed a step somewhere
or is there a problem with the website?
