Reporting ticket like this isn't surely helpful; in fact I asked what I
could attempt to check (you could simply tell me to post the syslog,
however); I wasn't also aware of the fact that sometimes drivers fall in
an unusable state.
However here ticket:12867#comment:1 you gave a good hint: I had an addon
which causes these troubles; I removed such addon
(audiosplitter.media_addon) and I no longer had troubles with this ticket
and with ticket:12867, so feel free to close both. Just for the record:
the audiosplitter.media_addon wasn't mentioned inside the syslog.
