  Webpositive: when 'x' is clicked to stop connections, they sometimes are
 not stopped.  It's true that some connections seem to 'hang' the browser.
 However; other connections that  do not hang the browser, but which are
 very lengthy, cannot be stopped via the GUI control meant for that purpose
 (clicking 'x').

 AFAIK, most other browsers allow a person to "bail" out of a session.
