Here's how it looked (the vmweb site doesn't load it properly it seems):

The replacement could probably just use a simple data file that lists
events, and then the /conference/ page could just list these in a table.
The "Add your event" could be replaced with info about submitting a Pull
Request through GitHub.
Not sure about how a Map of Events would work, but that probably isn't
needed based on the number of events.
