I think this is out of scope for Installer. It should stay a simple tool
 to install the OS, not a generic file copy tool with lots of options.

 Look you can add useful features or or leave it as simplistic and not that
 useful... it would be a good GCI or google code tasks probably. It's one
 of those things that really would not make sense to have a separate tool
 for.

 That said a selective file copy dialog might be a good thing to implement
 at as a dialog in which case it would not really be part of the
 application but available everywhere.
