Ok. The splash screen (with boot logo and loading icons) worked 100% for
Haiku R1B1.
If I set the screen resolution in the boot loader using hrev53864, I can
get to the splash screen (Problem 1 for IronLake Desktop).
So in the Haiku nightlies, a some VESA driver-related changes may affected
the default setup used in Haiku R1B1 for a successfully installer/desktop
bootup.
