We don't have control on the resolutions listed by the VESA driver. Ask
your hardware manufacturer and BIOS developer (and yes, it's unlikely they
will help).
As for the touchpad, as far as I know, we don't have a complete driver for
Elantech touchpad yet, but they should fallback to working as a mouse. Is
it the case? Or is the touchpad not working at all?
