 If you are comparing 64-bit Windows 7 and 32-bit Haiku, that's not a fair
 comparison, 64-bit will of course be faster due to the compilers usage of
 SSE2. And GCC2 is as noted a worse compiler, so again, I'm not sure
 there's much we can fix for 32-bit here.
