Background: observed with a music CD

Severity: 2/4 [Functionality] is affected
Steps to reproduce:
1. Insert a CD
2. Open MediaPlayer
3. Click the MediaPlayer menu, then Settings, or press Alt-S on the
keyboard.
4. Where it says resume, click never (although ask every time will ask,
your choice will still be ignored)
5. Play a file from the CD
6. Exit the application, while the file is playing.
7. Notice how the playback still resumes.
