I agree, even if Haiku remains single-user, having a method of preventing
unauthorized access to the system would be ideal.
However, I think a simple password would not really provide much real
security. Rather than spending the effort on just a password alone, I
think something like this should be implemented along with whole-disk or
home directory encryption.
