#16472: MediaPlayer goes unresponsive on rewind

Hardware: ThinkPad x230, Intel Core i5 (4 threads), 12Gb RAM, SSD
MediaPlayer freezes for a short time if I try to rewind the audio right
after application start. It will get back to normal after approximately 10
to 15 seconds.
Maybe unrelated, but audio length counters are not updating after second
rewind.
Steps to reproduce:
* Download [http://files.libertyfund.org/econtalk/y2020/Talebpandemic.mp3
this] `mp3` file
* Open it in MediaPlayer
* Try to rewind audio to the middle
