Please include some more information:
- Does the brightness slider show in the display settings or not at all?
- What is the PCI vendor and device id of your video card? If unsure,
please attach the complete output of the listdev command
- Please also attach a syslog, as it can have some extra info about how
the display is connected to the videocard
