#16859: Drivesetup: can't create new partitions (in gnome boxes)

I booted hrev54998 in Gnome boxes
When coming to the drivesetp part and initializing the empty disk i pick
either intel or gpt.
Afterwards i pick the option to create a partition on the new empty space
of the partition map, after clicking write changed an error box pops up
"Failed to format the partition. no changes have been writem to disk"
"Error: invalid argument"
I haven't tested this on a normal install yet.
