#4989: Small changes to the translation panel -------------------------------------------------+------------------------- Reporter: humdinger | Owner: deejam Type: enhancement | Status: in-progress Priority: normal | Milestone: R1 Component: Website/User Documentation | Version: Translator | R1/Development Resolution: | Keywords: Blocked By: | Blocking: Has a Patch: 0 | Platform: All -------------------------------------------------+------------------------- Comment (by deejam): Replying to [comment:2 humdinger]: > Being in Haiku, I can't check with another browser but Web+ and BeZilla. The text of the left panel ("Original Text", should actually be "Original text") should appear in a bit lighter grey to indicate it's not editable. This, when I look at my old comment in this ticket, is apparently already done, but only visible in non-Haiku browsers. I probably tested with Firefox in Ubuntu. Fixed in [http://hg.haiku-os.org/haiku-userguide- translator/rev/2a02ad31d9f6 2a02ad31d9f6]. Please tell me if you want it to look different. And as usual: it will be available on the next pull by Niels. > * In the translation panel, the links to "Translation Style Guide" and "Translation Terminology" could be shortened to just "Rules" and "Terms". I disagree. I think it is better as is. There are plenty of space left so I see no need in shortening it. The others are a little bit tricky to fix since they involve JavaScript where I have to assign the variables needed from php. -- Ticket URL: <http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/4989#comment:3> Haiku <http://dev.haiku-os.org> Haiku - the operating system.
