Added "profile" output taken in qemu (i.e. take with a grain of salt).
From a quick look BTextView methods are the ones consuming a good deal of
the time. That would also explain why things got gradually slower -- the
amount of text in the text view has been getting more and more. profile's
cachegrind output will allow for a better analysis, though.
