 In your bios settings. Is the bios option for Plug and Play Bios checked
 for yes ? is so , set it for no.

   Also if you have a thumb drive, put it in the usb slot. do you have a
 empty partition for haiku ?

   Try safe booting with APM,ACPI,APIC etc etc etc disabled. Your gtx240
 should support the vesa driver just fine. I have had or tested all of
 those components and they all work just fine with haiku.
