Ouch, sorry to hear the plan didn't work out. Just to let you know, to
double check, I burned and tested the gcc2 r39021 image today and it
initially KDL'ed but started booting fine after I had my network
interfaces disabled in BIOS (something I don't have to do on a HDD
install). Not that I think it would help in your case, but the image
itself should be ok.
